Esta memoria consta de dos partes: compresión de imágenes y restauración de imágenes. Empezamos la parte dedicada a la compresión de imágenes haciendo un repaso sobre fundamentos de compresión de imágenes y explicando algunos estándares. Describimos los algoritmos EZW y SPIHT con detalle en el apéndice A. Hay aplicaciones de compresión de datos, donde el control de calidad es de suma importancia. En la presente tesis doctoral estudiamos la miniaturización de la tecnología plenóptica en configuración 1.0, algo hasta ahora no abordado en la bibliografía. El objetivo final es fabricar mini-cámaras plenópticas que tengan la suficiente calidad y precisión como para ser utilizadas en la industria de consumo como cámaras de profundidad que además ofrecen imagen. The photosphere is the best known layer of the Sun, as it delimits its surface and furthermore, it has been observed in detail since the beginning of the telescopic era. The convection zone redistributes the magnetic field over the photosphere and the upper layers. On the many scales of the solar surface magnetism, the smallest elements seen in the photosphere are the most unknown, due to the limit in resolution of a finite telescope. Cardiovascular diseases constitute the leading global cause of morbidity and mortality. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has become the gold standard technique for the assessment of patients with myocardial infarction. However, limitations still exist thus new alternatives are open to investigation. Texture analysis is a technique that aims to quantify the texture of the images that are not always perceptible by the human eye.
